Job summary

Le Creuset is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Wrentham, MA to partner with the Store Manager on sales, staff development, and daily operations. You will lead on the floor, coach teammates to meet goals, and uphold Le Creuset's premium service standards.

You will support recruiting, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, and ensure visual and operational excellence while maintaining a positive, accountable team culture.

  • Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Office, handheld or laptop devices.
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stay active on the sales floor and lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Provide store leadership when Store Manager is unavailable and address concerns.
  • Build strong partnerships with Retail, HR and other support teams.

As our Assistant Store Manager, you will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop the store team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and support daily operations. You will lead by example on the sales floor, coach employees to achieve individual and store goals, and help maintain a positive and accountable team culture. In the Store Manager’s absence, you will provide leadership and oversee store operations while ensuring Le Creuset’s service, visual, and operational standards are consistently upheld.

  • Drive Business Results: Partner with the Store Manager to execute strategies that achieve sales, KPI, productivity, and profitability goals while leading by example on the sales floor.
  • Lead and Develop the Team: Support recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and recognition efforts to build an engaged, knowledgeable, and accountable team.
  • Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience: Model personalized service and expert product guidance while coaching the team to consistently deliver a joyful, premium Le Creuset brand experience.
  • Support Store Operations: Assist with scheduling, cash management, inventory accuracy, visual merchandising, loss prevention, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide Store Leadership: Oversee daily priorities and store operations when the Store Manager is unavailable, address customer and employee concerns, and escalation issues when appropriate.
  • Build Strong Partnerships: Communicate business needs and store performance to the Store Manager while collaborating with Retail, Human Resources, and other support teams.

  • Previous retail sales and leadership experience, preferably in a specialty retail or customer-focused environment
  • Experience coaching employees, supporting performance, and contributing to the achievement of sales and KPI goals
  • Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative, hands-on leadership style and a desire to continue developing professionally
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Office, and handheld or laptop devices
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain active on the sales floor for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift or carry up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and representing the Le Creuset brand
