The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position manages the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager leads the store team in servicing customers.

Essential Job Functions

1. Lead the team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
2. Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, ensuring team members execute customer service programs effectively.
3. Work with the store manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
4. Assist in setting team goals, providing feedback, coaching, and training.
5. Participate in hiring processes, including interviewing and candidate evaluation.
6. Ensure proper handling of phone inquiries, online orders, store transfers, and customer returns.
7. Manage merchandise invoicing, communication of Zipline messages, and merchandising tasks.
8. Ensure team compliance with company policies and work schedules.
9. Perform store opening/closing duties, including security and deposit procedures.
10. Maintain store facilities and equipment.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification.

Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification, ASE Certification, bilingual in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
