Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. Your duties include maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting customers in a positive manner, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store and providing excellent customer service.
• Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates on operating practices.
• Assisting with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store.
• Supporting ordering, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Supporting loss prevention efforts and assuming management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and perform physical activities like walking, standing, and climbing.
• Flexible, full-time availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
