Job summary

Hot Dog on a Stick in Thousand Oaks is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to lead our fast-paced team. You will partner with the Store Manager to coach staff, motivate during peak hours, ensure speedy, friendly service, and uphold food quality and safety standards.

You’ll help drive sales, manage shift coverage, assist with hiring and training, keep the store organized, and foster a positive, team-first culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in restaurant/retail environments preferred.
• Ability to thrive in high-volume shifts.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations alongside Store Manager.
• Coach, motivate, and hype the team during busy shifts.
• Deliver fast, friendly guest service and maintain food quality standards.
• Drive sales, team performance and overall store success.
• Keep the store clean, organized and running smoothly.
• Assist with hiring, training and developing team members.
