Right now, our Spanaway, WA store is seeking a Full Time Assistant Store Manager!

Hourly Rate: $19.71 per hour

Position Summary: Assistant Store Managers have direct supervision of all retail supervisors, and hourly staff who have access to the vault and/or registers. They are responsible for overall store supervision on a day-to-day basis to meet the needs of the store and its customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Assistant Store Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Performing all opening and closing procedures
2. Maintaining store audits at or above acceptable levels
3. Maintaining LP audits at acceptable levels
4. Leading semi-annual inventory
5. Monitoring safe procedures and cash handling policies
6. Overseeing supply management and ordering processes while monitoring expenses to stay within budget
7. Ensuring payroll expenses are within budgeted parameters
8. Delegating work appropriately to employees
9. Ensuring payroll and wage requests are up to date
10. Managing employee reimbursements, petty cash, and travel expenses
11. Maintaining building and function safety and maintenance
12. Ensuring security systems are operational

Full Cycle Hiring: Participating actively in interviewing and onboarding new retail employees following Goodwill's recruitment guidelines.

Loss Prevention: Serving as the security "captain" for the store, working with management and Loss Prevention to protect assets from theft.

Customer Service: Delivering exceptional service to a diverse customer base.
