General Summary:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in daily store operations, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store appearance, managing inventories, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers positively, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operating procedures.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store.
• Support ordering, record-keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participate in loss prevention efforts.
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting up to 55 lbs, and perform physical activities like walking, standing, stooping, etc.
• Flexible, full-time availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills include customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
