Job summary

Huk Gear is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Smithfield, NC to help lead our store team in delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving profitability. You will support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, lead by example, and help develop retail staff.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to analyze sales and inventory data.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to drive sales and manage store operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze sales and inventory data to make informed decisions.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation

• $17 to $19 based on experience

Schedule

• Shifts lasting between 4 to 8 hours
• Available for both Day and Evening shifts
• Must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed for business operations
