About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to lead our team and oversee daily retail operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, a strong background in retail management, and exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations
• Attend to walk-in customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products; manage feedback forms, inventory, visual merchandising, and cashiering
• Maintain store cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Lead, train, and coach team members
• Monitor sales performance and help achieve store targets
• Manage grooming appointments and coordinate with groomers
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pets in the store
• Opportunities to advance to store manager role, including staff performance evaluations, business strategy development, and manpower planning

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role
