The Role:

Our Retail team is looking for an Assistant Store Manager at our Richmond Centre location! Join our growing team at JD Sports Canada. The main responsibilities include delivering excellent customer experiences and fostering team growth. You will also ensure operational excellence through managerial tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and employee performance evaluation.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure high customer satisfaction by possessing extensive product knowledge.
• Train and develop a team focused on delivering outstanding experiences to our community through coaching and feedback.
• Achieve business results and meet KPIs.
• Deliver sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational standards.
• Act as a liaison between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
• Learn and share expertise on products and trends to meet customer needs.
• Maintain awareness of current and upcoming products and trends.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Support key initiatives in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Proactively grow the business through community outreach.
• Prioritize culture, personal growth, and self-awareness in all actions.
• Provide outstanding experiences consistently, showcasing our products to the community.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:

• Minimum 2 years of retail management experience.
• Passion for streetwear and sneaker culture.
• Experience supervising, training, and coaching sales associates.
• Confident in engaging customers to deliver elevated experiences.
