Purpose Of The Role

The Assistant Store Manager Retail Floor is a key leader within the store, potentially acting as Store Manager in their absence. They oversee operational activities to ensure positive employee and customer experiences and retail profitability, aligned with our Mission and Values. They set expectations for policy execution and respond to employee performance issues. Our culture emphasizes respect, professionalism, teamwork, and cooperation.

Key Areas Of Responsibility
  • Operational Oversight: Promote sales and marketing strategies, conduct floor walks, design seasonal layouts, ensure presentation standards, oversee product delivery, and communicate supply needs.
  • Customer Service: Ensure positive shopping experiences and handle complaints professionally.
  • Cash Handling: Adhere to cash procedures, supervise cash management, and ensure security.
  • Staffing & Employee Development: Oversee staff, conduct interviews, support training, manage performance, and promote engagement.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure legal and company policy adherence, maintain a safe environment, and address safety concerns.
  • Additional Duties: Support other departments and perform duties assigned by the Store Manager.
