Job summary

Gibbs Oil Company is seeking an Assistant Manager for our convenience store, a role designed to grow your retail management skills while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, help train team members, manage inventory tasks, ensure clean and welcoming store conditions, and participate in promotions and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and store operations is a plus.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for lengthy periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
