As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting the Store Manager with daily store operations, maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers positively. Answer questions and resolve inquiries.
• Maintain a presence in the store by providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure the store is clean and well-stocked.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store.
• Help in ordering merchandise and record keeping, including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention efforts.
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting up to 55 lbs., and perform physical activities like walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, developing potential, results-driven, organizational, communication, problem-solving, job knowledge, relationship management.
