Job Summary

Assist the Store Manager and Manager In Training in recruiting, hiring, training, and managing store personnel to meet sales goals, control expenses, and protect assets.

Essential Job Functions

• Meet and exceed sales goals.
• Assist in recruiting and training staff.
• Provide coaching and enforce company policies.
• Manage daily store operations and loss prevention.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Complete bank deposits and demonstrate Journeys' culture.

Job Requirements

• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• 6-12 months retail sales experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work 45 hours weekly, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to climb, reach, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
