As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager in daily operations, including inventory management, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner. Answer questions and resolve inquiries.
• Maintain a presence in the store by providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure the store is clean and well-stocked.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
• Help with ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention efforts.
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and up to 55 lbs occasionally, along with other physical activities.
• Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
