Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager with daily operations, including inventory management, store appearance, and paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and assisting customers positively, resolving inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintaining a clean, stocked store and providing excellent customer service.
  • Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
  • Assisting with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store.
  • Supporting ordering, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
  • Participating in loss prevention efforts.
  • Taking on management responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and meet demands of store activities.
  • Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
