Job Description:

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day operations of the store, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures.

Our services include Alltown Fresh, featuring innovative chef-led creations and guest-focused retail experiences, and a network of over 50 liquid energy terminals across the eastern seaboard.   • Complete daily accounting paperwork and transmit it by deadline.
  • Supervise, develop, train, and discipline non-exempt (hourly) employees, ensuring operational standards are upheld.
  • Monitor shift cash handling and inventory, assist in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 or less, and inventory variations of 0.5% of sales or less.
  • Maintain business records, review cashier accountability sheets, and records as prescribed by management.
  • Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties, following cash control policies.
  • Manage cash procedures including deposits and change orders.
  • Maintain store standards according to Global Partner's image standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and store security, complying with safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Coordinate gasoline levels and deliveries.
  • Engage in promotional initiatives.
  • Promote high levels of guest service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in various temperatures and physical conditions, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Access to all store areas.
