Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations, maintaining inventory, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greets and assists customers, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store and provides excellent customer service.
• Supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Assists with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
• Supports ordering, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Supports loss prevention efforts.
• Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Preferably retail management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting up to 55 lbs, and perform physical activities like walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Availability to work flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
