Position: Assistant Manager - TOMMY HILFIGER KIDS

Reports to: Store Manager

Summary: Assists in managing store performance, sales, staff recruitment and development, store appearance, and expense control.

Responsibilities
  1. Generate sales and profit, maintain store appearance, and minimize losses.
  2. Implement strategies to meet/exceed goals.
  3. Maintain high customer service standards.
  4. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  5. Represent the Tommy Hilfiger brand professionally.
  6. Oversee store productivity, staffing, and inventory in the absence of GM/SM.
  7. Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
Operations
  1. Follow all company policies and procedures.
  2. Ensure store security and safety.
  3. Identify and solve problems proactively.
  4. Manage controllable expenses and payroll.
  5. Attend management meetings when required.
  6. Follow inventory and shrinkage protocols.
  7. Ensure store tools and resources are available and used properly.
  8. Manage store opening and closing procedures.
Leadership
  1. Assist in recruiting and hiring qualified sales associates.
  2. Develop staff knowledge in product, merchandising, and customer service.
  3. Motivate staff to achieve store goals.
  4. Handle difficult situations professionally.
  5. Supervise sales floor to ensure optimal customer and staff awareness.
  6. Promote teamwork and a respectful work environment.
  7. Participate in management meetings and staff training.
  8. Lead by example and maintain confidentiality.
Merchandising & Visual
  1. Supervise specific departments to maximize performance.
  2. Implement merchandising directives and markdowns timely.
  3. Analyze sales data to identify top and slow sellers.
  4. Maintain high store presentation standards.
  5. Ensure store organization and cleanliness.
  6. Keep management informed of merchandise and visual issues.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.33 per hour.
