General Summary

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist in the daily operation of the store, provide exceptional customer service, maintain inventories, and ensure the store's appearance. You will support the Store Manager in various responsibilities including ordering merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers positively, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operational practices.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
• Help in ordering merchandise, managing payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention efforts and assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs; capable of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Flexibility to work full-time including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills include customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
