Compensation Pay Range: $14.42 - $19.00 per hour. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable in the job location. Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses, premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, and can vary accordingly.

The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role also involves shift management responsibilities in the absence of the Store or Assistant Manager.

Essential Job Functions

1. Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
2. Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, ensuring team members execute customer service programs effectively.
3. Answer phones according to company policy.
4. Process online orders, transfers, and outside purchases promptly, contacting customers as needed.
5. Handle retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issuing refunds accurately.
6. Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before the product leaves the store.
7. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
8. Ensure adherence to work schedules, and proper clock-in/out procedures.
9. Perform store opening and closing duties, including securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, and securing the store and delivery vehicles.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required: Strong communication skills, ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Desired: Retail sales experience (preferably in auto parts), automotive systems knowledge, ASE Certification, multilingual fluency (Spanish highly desired).
