Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service and assist the Store Manager in daily store operations. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers positively, answering questions and resolving concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on company practices.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store.
• Support ordering, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participate in loss prevention efforts.
• Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and perform physical activities like walking, standing, and climbing.
• Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills include customer focus, organizational ability, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
