NAPA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support the store manager, drive sales, and ensure outstanding customer service across both wholesale and retail operations.

You’ll coach crew members, manage inventory and safety, and partner with colleagues to implement company programs that boost profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or trade school courses or degree completion.
• Experience in the automotive aftermarket/service industry or hobby/DIY world, or willingness to learn all things automotive.
• Passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships.
• Thrives in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs in some situations.
• ASE Certifications (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead a successful team and support the store manager in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Manage store operations to maximize sales, profits and customer service.
• Build, coach, train and engage crew to deliver superior customer care and business results.
• Oversee inventory protection, asset management, and safety.
• Ensure overall cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room and outside areas.
• Drive NAPA programs and continuous process improvements.
• Grow customer relationships and assist with sales/service questions, including phone interactions.
