Compensation Pay Range: $16.50 - $24.50
The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums, which vary based on specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. They manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence or when working opposing shifts and lead team members in servicing customers.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Lead the team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
  2. Supervise customer service levels and team member execution of customer service programs.
  3. Assist in staffing the retail sales counter during peak hours.
  4. Help set team member goals, provide feedback, coaching, and ensure training updates.
  5. Participate in hiring processes, including interviews and candidate evaluation.
  6. Answer phones according to company policy.
  7. Process online orders, transfers, and special orders efficiently, contacting customers as needed.
  8. Handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and merchandise processing accurately and efficiently.
  9. Ensure merchandise invoicing, communication of messages, and delegation of merchandising tasks.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, including scheduling, clocking in/out, and store security procedures.
  11. Perform opening and closing duties, including securing money, preparing deposits, and securing the store.
  12. Maintain the store building, parking lot, signage, hardware, equipment, and vehicles.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification.

Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification, ASE Certification, bilingual in multiple languages (Spanish highly preferred).
