Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager works in partnership with the Store Manager to ensure the success of a Trek retail location. By focusing on the operational aspects of the business, they learn to act as an owner, gaining leadership and business acumen to take the next steps in their career at Trek.

The Assistant Store Manager will take the lead on training efforts for new and seasoned employees. They will ensure operational excellence from inventory to providing hospitality on the sales floor. They will participate in budgeting and financial review processes to understand what it takes to run a healthy business. Through feedback from the Store Manager, they will learn how to make the store a community favorite and promote biking.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop leadership skills to support daily store operations and train employees
  2. Participate in weekly service meetings
  3. Exemplify the Trek sales process and be among the top two sellers in store
  4. Handle administrative duties related to hiring and onboarding
  5. Delegate daily tasks and follow through on Lead List communication
  6. Maintain store merchandising standards, including product placement, pricing, and restocking
  7. Use POS system to monitor sales and analyze trends
Qualifications:
  1. Desire to change the world through bikes
  2. Adaptability and eagerness to learn
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. High sense of urgency
  6. Prior retail leadership experience preferred
Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $24.00
