Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a store team and ensure an exceptional Guest experience while upholding brand standards. The role involves managing daily operations, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming, fun atmosphere for guests and staff alike.

The Assistant Manager will guide team performance, implement company programs, and engage in local store marketing and community outreach to support brand initiatives and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Reviews store environment and KPIs to identify problems and opportunities for improvement

• Develops local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives
• Initiates community outreach through marketing and special events
• Uses Profit and Loss, Business Review, Cash Management, Labor Matrix, and Inventory tools to achieve Operational Excellence
• Challenges the team to achieve results
• Manages and provides feedback to staff, sets goals and supports learning
• Recognizes and reinforces accomplishments using tools and recognition programs
• Maintains an environment where team feels valued and respected
• Handles guest and team differences calmly and professionally
• Ensures compliance with legal and food safety procedures
• Trains and holds team accountable for delivering an exceptional Guest Experience
• Delegates responsibilities and manages staffing levels

Job Purpose

Contributes to Smoothie King’s success by leading his/her team to create and maintain an exceptional Guest experience while upholding brand standards as well as modeling and acting in accordance to Smoothie King core values. The Assistant Manager is involved in all areas of store operations which include:

Duties and Responsibilities

Action-Oriented

• Reviews store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and adjusts accordingly
• Drives implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring team to meet operational standards and goals
• Develops local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives
• Initiates community outreach through marketing and special eventsUses operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Business Review, Cash Management, Log Labor Matrix, and Inventory Management tools to achieve Operational Excellence

• Manages, actively by utilizing performance management tools to support organizational objectives provide feedback, set goals and utilize learning management system
