SmartStop Self Storage in Dallas, TX is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Store 1375. The role oversees leasing storage and parking spaces, leads a team, and supports on-site projects—no night shifts.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a monthly bonus plan. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401(k) matching, and life/disability coverage. Hours are Mon-Fri 9:00am–5:30pm, Sat 9:30am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude required.
• Ability to explain rental options and promote add-ons.
• Willingness to work as a team and adapt to schedule needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property.
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers.
• Light maintenance.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Assistant Store Manager (Store 1375 - Dallas, TX, USA) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation:

Mon - Fri 9:00am to 5:30pm; Sat 9:30am - 5:00pm; Sun CLOSED

Starting at $17.00/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
