Job Overview

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and will be in direct contact with customers. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and keeping team members on task and the facility clean and well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and assist the Store Manager in cleaning, training, customer service, and any other assigned tasks.
  • Resolve or escalate customer service issues in a timely manner.
  • Set shift goals, follow up, coach, and train staff on sales expectations.
  • Uphold strong sales performance and lead by example.
  • Report and resolve employee issues with upper management (tardiness, dress code, unprofessional behavior, etc.).
  • Attend and participate in company meetings; assist in delivering corporate content to store associates (promotions, policies, etc.).
  • Conduct bi-monthly inventory checks and report discrepancies.
  • Cover shifts as needed, including weekends, holidays, or days off.
  • Ensure cleaning standards are met, including weekly deep cleans and daily chores.
  • Support a positive and respectful learning environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic grammar, math, and computer skills
  • At least 2 years of related industry or retail experience, or at least 1 year of employment at Beaches
  • 6 months of leadership experience, including 3 months at Beaches
  • Flexible schedule, available to work 35+ hours per week

Dress Code

  • Facial piercings: one nose ring or stud allowed (no other facial piercings)
  • Hair: no unnatural colors (bright red, pink, purple, etc.)
