Position Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist in daily store operations, provide excellent customer service, and support inventory management, store appearance, and daily paperwork under the guidance of the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, addressing inquiries and concerns positively.
• Maintain a clean, stocked store environment.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on company practices.
• Assist with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store.
• Support in ordering merchandise, record-keeping, and loss prevention efforts.
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting up to 55 lbs.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
