We are seeking a candidate with exceptional sales and management skills, preferably in the watch, fine jewelry, and/or specialty retail industry, to join our team at Chicago Premium Outlet, Aurora, Illinois as our Assistant Store Manager. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of operations, driving sales, customer service, staff management and training, etc. The role also includes acting as the Store Manager in their absence.

Roles And Responsibilities

1. Achieve or exceed personal sales goals as established by the Store Manager and develop a comprehensive knowledge of the merchandise.
2. Open and close the store.
3. Achieve financial objectives for the store.
4. Coach and train store personnel to help them achieve their personal sales goals.
5. Recruit, hire, train, and coach store employees to ensure peak performance.
6. Ensure proper management of CRM data, inventory, revenue, merchandising, and loss prevention programs in accordance with company policy.
7. Provide and ensure exceptional customer service within the store.
8. Maintain store stability, security, and reputation by complying with corporate, legal, and security requirements.
9. Maintain a neat, clean, and professional working environment.
10. Monitor and maintain merchandise presentation, including cleanliness, accurate ticketing, and proper display.
11. Service watches, including sizing and battery changes as needed.

Job Requirements

• The ideal candidate has strong selling skills and at least 3 years of retail management experience.
• Experience in watch, jewelry, fashion, accessories, cosmetics, or luxury retail is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Open availability and flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed to meet store objectives.
