Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Director in overseeing all aspects of store operations, including store revenue and goals. They communicate clearly and consistently with customers, employees, and vendors. Responsibilities include driving sales, training employees, managing payroll, succession planning, and ensuring safety and store supervision. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Develop and coach store employees, fostering growth and career development.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration within the leadership team and staff.
• Ensure compliance with legal wage and hour requirements.
• Maintain shrink and audit goals through company programs and store controls.
• Ensure safety and security of employees, customers, and assets.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills and resolve customer concerns.
• Serve as Manager-On-Duty (MOD), maintaining service levels and store performance.
• Provide visibility on sales floor, communicate daily goals.
• Work mainly closing shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Job Requirements

• Move throughout all store areas, including outside perimeter.
• Lift objects up to and exceeding 50 pounds with accommodations.
• Stand and/or sit for full shifts with breaks.
• Use a PC or laptop for extended periods.
• Travel between stores and corporate office.
• Physically able to perform various motions including bending, reaching, lifting, and climbing.
• Willing to transfer to any store within a 50-mile radius.
