We are looking for 3 Assistant Store Leaders to join us in advancing the industry forward. As an Assistant Store Leader, you will work closely with the Store Leader to ensure the store is operationally sound, business results are achieved, and exceptional customer service is provided consistently.

Responsibilities for People and Culture

1. You will assist in developing and implementing strategies to attract, develop, and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce at SKIMS.
2. You shall conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for store positions, ensuring that candidates are evaluated based on their skills, qualifications, and alignment with SKIMS mission and values.
3. We expect you to promote a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering open communication, addressing employee concerns, and resolving conflicts.
4. You will collaborate with the Store Leader to create and implement training programs that enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance.
5. You shall support the development of succession plans for key roles within the store, identifying and nurturing talent within the team.
6. We expect you to oversee the implementation of employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs and team-building activities, to foster a strong sense of community and belonging.
7. You will ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards in all aspects of people and culture management.
8. We expect you to analyze employee feedback and HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

1. You must have a strong understanding of human resources practices and policies to effectively support the People and Culture team.
2. You should be skilled in conducting interviews, onboarding new hires, and managing employee relations to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.
3. We expect you to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and provide guidance to employees.
4. You must possess exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as maintaining personnel records, coordinating training programs, and implementing HR initiatives.
5. We require you to have a proactive approach in identifying areas for improvement within the organization's culture and proposing strategies to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion.
6. You should demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy to effectively address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and unbiased manner.
7. It is important that you are knowledgeable about relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
8. We value individuals who have experience working in a retail or customer service-oriented environment, as this role involves supporting store operations and engaging with customers.
