Assistant Store Leader (People & Culture) - Woodbury Commons

SKIMS is a solutions-oriented brand creating the next generation of underwear, loungewear, and shapewear. We set new standards with our innovative products and are a driving force within pop culture. We are looking for 3 Assistant Store Leaders to join us in advancing the industry.

As an Assistant Store Leader, you will work closely with the Store Leader to ensure operational excellence, achieve business results, and provide exceptional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make a significant impact on our store's success.

Responsibilities for People and Culture
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to attract, develop, and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes, evaluating candidates based on skills, qualifications, and alignment with SKIMS values.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive work environment by fostering open communication, addressing employee concerns, and resolving conflicts.
  • Collaborate with the Store Leader to create and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Support succession planning by identifying and nurturing talent within the team.
  • Oversee employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs and team-building activities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Analyze employee feedback and HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of human resources practices and policies.
  • Skilled in conducting interviews, onboarding, and managing employee relations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proactive in identifying and proposing strategies to improve organizational culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy to address employee concerns fairly.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in retail or customer service environments is preferred.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. This role does not involve influencer activities.
