We are seeking 3 Assistant Store Leaders to join us in advancing the industry. As an Assistant Store Leader, you will work closely with the Store Leader to ensure smooth store operations, achieve business results, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities for People and Culture

  1. Assist in developing strategies to attract, develop, and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  2. Conduct interviews and participate in hiring, evaluating candidates based on skills, qualifications, and alignment with SKIMS' mission and values.
  3. Promote a positive, inclusive work environment by fostering open communication, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts.
  4. Collaborate with the Store Leader to create and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  5. Support succession planning by identifying and nurturing talent within the team.
  6. Oversee employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs and team-building activities.
  7. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
  8. Analyze employee feedback and HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements for employee satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  1. Strong understanding of human resources practices and policies.
  2. Skilled in conducting interviews, onboarding, and managing employee relations.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  5. Proactive in identifying and proposing strategies to improve organizational culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  6. High emotional intelligence and empathy for addressing employee concerns and conflicts.
  7. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations for compliance.
  8. Experience in retail or customer service environments preferred.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed is required.
