Overview

Join to apply for the Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) role at 7-Eleven.

Retail Assistant Manager role with immediate hiring, focused on your success and training to provide excellent customer service. The position offers full-time hours and valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash transactions and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures; ensure products are in-stock and the store is presentable.
• Demonstrate strong communication and intrapersonal skills to support the team.

What You Bring

• Ability to supervise and lead, including training and coaching, in collaboration with the Store Leader.
• Proven ability to retain staff by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and promoting productivity.
• Ability to assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting loyalty programs.
• Commitment to a clean, safe environment and compliance with health and sanitation procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel (or comparable computer skills).
• High School diploma or GED preferred; candidates with at least one year of retail management experience may also qualify.
• Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence and ongoing automotive liability insurance during employment.
• Ability to multi-task; ability to stand, bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Salary range: $15.50 - $21.00 per hour.
