Foodland Super Market, Ltd in Hawaii is seeking an Assistant Store Director for Oahu with strong leadership and customer-service focus. The role is full-time with evenings and weekends required, and a $1,000 hiring incentive.

On-island candidates only; relocation not provided. You will support the Store Director, manage operations in their absence, and help drive profitable store performance while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school education with some college background preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the supermarket industry.
• Must successfully pass math test.
• Must successfully pass cashier training after hire.
• Must successfully pass office clerk training after hire.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• TB Clearance required.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.
• Must be able to provide coverage to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Observe and enforce all store rules and company policies and actively support the Store Director.
• Perform all duties of the Store Director in their absence and contribute to profitable operation of the store.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure that all store personnel are courteous to customers.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance, observe company dress code and abide by all company policies and procedures.

  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

*Hiring bonus will be paid according to the terms and conditions of the company’s hiring bonus program. Hiring bonus will be paid in installments based upon duration of continued employment.
