Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science or related field.
• Proficiency in meteorological data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Analyze meteorological data daily to identify weather threats to Florida.
• Prepare routine and on-demand weather products and briefings for agencies.
• Develop graphics and graphics products to supplement written weather hazards.
• Staff the State Meteorology Desk and assist with data analytics for incidents.
• Support SERT activations with forecasts and hazard information.
