• Option 2: Education may be substituted with experience. Total experience must be 4-years of business or relevant experience, of which a minimum of 1-year in accounting/auditing is required.
• Option 3: Any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Must be an internal applicant who is currently employed by the Office of the Washington State Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting risk-based financial and legal compliance audits for state agencies and local governments.
• Lead or participate in fieldwork teams, providing guidance and mentoring to in-training staff.
• Perform special investigations related to citizen concerns and/or fraud as assigned.
