Job summary

State of Oklahoma seeks an Assistant Program Manager of State Aid in Oklahoma City to lead the State Aid section. You will interpret the state aid formula, supervise reporting, and ensure accurate disbursement of funds to districts. The role requires in-person work at the Oliver Hodge Building.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Finance or Education, 3 years of funding formula experience, and strong Excel skills. Travel is limited; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Interpret complex funding formulas and explain calculations to superintendents and legislators.
• Conduct audits and statistical analyses of district data for compliance and trends.
• Provide financial guidance by reviewing expenditure reports and statutes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the state aid formula and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Direct State Aid section activities and coordinate with other divisions.
• Coordinate annual Budget Request, Budget Work Program, and quarterly allotments.
• Direct auditing of attendance data and allocation changes due to annexations.
• Direct disbursement of state aid money and projections for appropriations.
• Compile income sheets and analyze expenditure reports for the State Board.
