Glow Brands is opening a brand-new Wellness City location and seeks energetic leaders to join the founding management team in Ohio. The Assistant Spa Director will support daily operations, coach staff, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and drive sales growth from day one.

The role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, while partnering with Spa Director to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience required.
• Assistant Manager experience preferred.

• Hospitatlity or wellness industry familiarity.
• Fitness, spa, or tanning industry exposure.

Earn Up To $22.00 Per Hour*

Starting Pay: $17.00/hour or higher, plus performance-based bonuses that average up to $22/hour.

Although not guaranteed, management team members who complete training and achieve performance goals average up to $22.00/hour through base pay and bonus opportunities.

Position Overview

The Assistant Spa Director plays a key role in the success of the location by supporting daily operations, leading team performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving sales growth. You'll partner closely with the Spa Director to manage operations, coach employees, maintain high service standards, and ensure the location consistently meets business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, motivate, and coach team members to achieve individual and store goals.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Create a positive, engaging, and performance-driven work environment.
• Provide regular coaching, feedback, and recognition to team members.
• Help establish clear expectations and accountability.

Sales & Customer Service

• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Drive membership, product, and service sales.
• Consistently achieve personal and store performance goals.
• Build relationships with customers and provide personalized wellness recommendations.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.

Operations & Business Management

• Support daily spa operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing to maximize productivity.
• Review operational reports and performance metrics.
• Help control expenses and support revenue growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Facility & Brand Standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Ensure proper sanitation and equipment cleaning procedures are followed.
• Support facility maintenance and operational excellence.
• Help uphold the Wellness City brand experience at all times.

Schedule Expectations

• Approximately 35-40 hours per week
• Five-day workweek
• Day, evening, and weekend availability required
• Must be able to provide management coverage as business needs require

• Ability to bend, reach, and lift products, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to perform cleaning and sanitation duties.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes and supplies as needed.
