Job summary

MassageLuXe Irvine is seeking an energetic, dependable, and sales-driven Assistant Spa Manager to join our leadership team. This hands-on role works with the Spa Manager and Owner to oversee daily operations and grow membership sales.

You will lead by example in customer service, coach front desk staff, and help recruit and develop the team while ensuring every guest receives an exceptional spa experience.

Qualifications

• Previous management or leadership experience.
• Strong sales experience; membership-based sales is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day spa operations.
• Actively sell memberships and help achieve monthly sales goals.
• Coach Front Desk staff to improve membership sales and conversions.
• Lead by example in customer service, professionalism, attendance, and performance.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and employee development.
• Help manage employee schedules and daily staffing needs.
• Handle guest questions, concerns, and service recovery professionally.
• Monitor appointment books and maximize provider schedules.
• Assist with inventory, deposits, daily tasks, reporting, and administrative responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming spa environment.
• Support local marketing, promotions, community outreach, and business-building opportunities.
• Work closely with the Spa Manager and Owner to improve revenue, client retention, memberships, and overall spa performance.

MassageLuXe Irvine is looking for an energetic, dependable, and sales-driven Assistant Spa Manager to join our leadership team.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, knows how to lead and motivate a team, and understands that sales and exceptional customer service go hand-in-hand.

This is a hands-on management position. Our Assistant Spa Manager works alongside the Spa Manager and Owner to help oversee daily operations, support and develop our team, grow membership sales, and ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience.

What You'll Do

• Help oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable personally selling AND coaching a team to sell
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Confident, professional, positive, and dependable
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Comfortable providing both positive coaching and employee accountability
• Ability to problem-solve and take initiative without needing constant direction
• Spa, wellness, hospitality, fitness, beauty, retail, or membership-based business experience is preferred
• Basic computer and administrative skills
• Interest in massage, skincare, health, and wellness
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays

Physical Requirements

This is an active position requiring periods of standing, walking, and moving throughout the spa. Occasional bending, reaching, and moving or pushing supplies/equipment weighing up to approximately 50 lbs. may be required.
