Job summary

Lands' End, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Sourcing Manager to partner closely with sourcing leadership and support the product lifecycle from development through production. This role is ideal for someone early in their career eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced retail environment.

Your responsibilities will include supporting sourcing programs, managing calendars for timely product delivery, and building vendor partnerships. You'll also monitor vendor performance and coordinate development activities.

Qualifications

As the Assistant Sourcing Manger, you’ll partner closely with sourcing leadership to support the end-to-end product lifecycle—from development through production while building strong vendor partnerships and driving cost, quality, and timing success.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing programs, including cost analysis, negotiations, and vendor communication
• Assist in managing time & action calendars to ensure on‑time product delivery
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to track prototypes, samples, and development milestones
• Help evaluate and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance
• Monitor vendor performance and help resolve issues related to quality, pricing, or timelines
• Coordinate fabric and trim development, tracking samples and submissions
• Maintain systems and tools (e.g., Centric) and ensure accurate product data
• Participate in meetings and provide updates on development and sample status
• Build foundational knowledge of sourcing strategy, cost drivers, and production timelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Apparel Merchandising, Business, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience sourcing, product development, or supply chain
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and follow‑through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; exposure to PLM tools a plus
