Job Title: Assistant Social Media Manager

Location: Remote (Lancaster, PA is a plus)

Role Overview

As the Assistant Social Media Manager, you will be at the forefront of creating and managing captivating visual and written content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Your role will focus on producing high-quality posts, graphics, and videos, leveraging your expertise in editing tools to craft engaging posts that align with our brand voice and marketing mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curate and publish 8 visually engaging monthly posts, collaborating closely with the Creative Director to align with content goals and brand voice.
  • Generate on-brand thumbnails for video content where applicable.
  • Write compelling post captions and descriptions, scheduling content strategically for maximum audience reach and engagement.
  • Develop and share 12 dynamic Instagram Stories monthly, conducting interactive polls, showcasing product features, and educating the audience using Instagram Story tools.
  • Source, share, and enhance user-generated content to stories to enhance brand identity.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in photo editing, graphic design, and video editing using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Adobe Premiere.
  • Strong writing skills with a clear understanding of brand voice and identity.
  • 3+ years of experience managing professional Instagram and TikTok accounts.
  • Skilled in using social media management tools (e.g., Metricool) and communication platforms (e.g., Slack).
  • Ability to work independently, understand brand goals and mission, and take initiative without instruction.
  • Capable of navigating and utilizing our online content database to source and create content that aligns with our social pillars.
  • Knowledge of social media metrics and performance analysis; a foundational understanding of sports is strongly preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment for this position is laid-back and flexible, offering a mix of in-office and remote work opportunities. If you're based in Lancaster, PA, there will be opportunities to work hands-on with our products (not required). The rest of your hours can be completed remotely, allowing for a schedule that fits your needs.

You'll collaborate closely with the Reflexion team and engage with customers to ensure our products and services consistently meet high standards of quality and reliability. Our workflow includes periodic team meetings to align on goals and progress, but you'll also have the independence to manage your own time and tasks effectively.
