Remote Associate Media Manager - Contract
Mettawa, IL

Pay: $40/hr+

Job Full Description

Our client in the Lake County area is seeking a remote Associate Media Manager for a contract role through the end of May. Our client is involved in the recreational industry and this special project will entail being a subject matter expert on digital media best practices across a diversified channel mix.

Job Highlights:
  1. Contract project until May 2025, with possibility of getting hired on/extension
  2. Remote position
  3. Schedule: Part time hours (20/week) during an 8am-5pm shift

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for executing, optimizing and managing performance-based campaigns across multiple paid media channels.
  2. Analyze campaign performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to inform actionable data-driven decisions and continuous optimization.
  3. Provide channel strategy input & recommendations that meet brand objectives & achieve media KPIs.
  4. Conduct in-depth keyword research, ad copy testing, and audience targeting to enhance campaign performance across all platforms.
  5. Meet with channel vendors to ensure we are up to date on platform best practices, new features & tests, and monitoring performance relative to our industry.
  6. Stay abreast of industry best practices, trends, algorithm updates and emerging technologies to proactively apply new knowledge.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including digital marketing, analytics, creative, and sales to align paid media efforts with overall marketing objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 3-5 years in advertising, media management, and/or media buying; experience in paid search, with hands-on executional experience in planning and running large-scale campaigns across Google, Bing and Meta (agency experience preferred).
  2. Up to date on paid media best practices.
  3. Experience designing, setting up and analyzing results for A/B tests.
  4. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication.
  6. Detail-oriented, organized and ability to multi-task.
  7. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Google Ads and Microsoft Ads certifications are preferred but not required.
