The Craftsmen Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor to support daily construction operations on Bald Head Island. Working with the Site Supervisor, you will help maintain organized, safe job sites and coordinate materials for high-end projects.

This is a hands-on role requiring reliable field work and clear communication with subcontractors. This is a full-time W-2 position with weekly direct deposit, potential overtime, and benefits eligibility after 90 days in a coastal

• Experience in residential construction or site support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Supervisor with daily jobsite execution and prep.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
• Receive, inspect, stage, and track materials.
• Monitor and document daily progress.
• Support punch-list and quality-control tasks.
• Coordinate tools, equipment, and temporary facilities.
• Support subcontractor coordination and communication.
• Identify hazards and report safety concerns.
• Perform basic carpentry and field tasks.
• Assist with storm prep and site protection.
• Maintain schedule progression and readiness.
• Transport materials between sites as needed.
• Keep equipment and vehicles clean and operational.

Assistant Site Supervisor

Location: Bald Head Island, NC. Projects are primarily located on Bald Head Island and require daily ferry transportation. Candidates must be comfortable with the island's unique materials, transportation, and jobsite logistics.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Site Supervisor to support daily construction operations on Bald Head Island. Working directly with the Site Supervisor, this person will help maintain jobsite organization, coordinate materials and equipment, document progress, support quality and safety activities, and perform hands-on field tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Supervisor with daily jobsite execution and preparation.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized, and professional job sites.
• Help receive, inspect, stage, and track construction materials.
• Monitor and document daily jobsite progress.
• Assist with punch-list completion and quality-control activities.
• Coordinate tools, equipment, and temporary jobsite facilities.
• Support subcontractor coordination and communication.
• Identify and report jobsite hazards and support safety compliance.
• Perform minor carpentry, construction labor, and general field-support tasks.
• Assist with storm preparation and jobsite-protection procedures.
• Help maintain schedule progression and daily operational readiness.
• Transport materials and provide logistical support between job sites when required.
• Keep company equipment, vehicles, and golf carts clean and in good operating condition.
• Attend weekly GSR meetings with the Site Supervisor.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged materials, quality concerns, or operational delays.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, carpentry, general labor, or jobsite-support experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of residential construction practices, tools, materials, and jobsite safety.
• Willingness and ability to perform hands-on field and minor carpentry work.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow direction.
• Organized and attentive to jobsite cleanliness and material control.
• Clear, respectful communication with supervisors, subcontractors, and team members.
• Ability to recognize hazards and follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Comfortable working outdoors and adapting to changing project and weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles, golf carts, tools, and equipment after appropriate instruction.
• Daily ferry transportation to Bald Head Island is required. Company-paid ferry transportation is provided for required work-related travel

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 employment.
• Pay range: $16 - $18 hourly compensation based on construction experience and capabilities.
• Weekly pay through direct deposit.
• Overtime pay provided in accordance with applicable law.
• Eligibility for discretionary performance-based bonuses.
• Benefits eligibility begins after 90 days of employment, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
• Eligibility for company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage after 90 days of employment, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
• Seven days of paid vacation annually, subject to advance approval.
• Company golf cart may be assigned for Bald Head Island operations.
• Company-provided tools, equipment, vehicles, uniforms, or other field resources as required.
• Compensation may be reviewed based on performance, tenure, project complexity, and overall contribution.
• Standard schedule of Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.; extended hours may occasionally be required.
