About the Role

In coordination with the Project Manager/Site Manager, you will direct activities and coordinate the daily quality control system and procedures for the company, from project start-up to completion.

Essential Functions
  • Manage daily activities of the quality control program.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings to discuss the QMS Program and review Lessons Learned with subcontractors.
  • Train team members on the use of the quality control program and support query resolution.
  • Set up projects within the quality program database, support maintenance, and implement audits.
  • Ensure the quality program monitors the organization’s overall quality effectively and timely.
  • Conduct inspections and audits on-site to verify quality controls and report findings.
  • Perform quality control inspections during installation to ensure compliance.
  • Inspect incoming products, materials, and equipment for contract compliance.
  • Verify manufacturer, fabricator, and installer qualifications are current and relevant.
  • Coordinate sampling and testing of work to prevent delays.
  • Maintain jobsite test and inspection plans and related documentation.
  • Create and maintain an approved Project Specific Quality Control plan.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role requires standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, talking, and hearing frequently. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds are expected. The environment is a moderate-noise office setting with controlled temperature and humidity. Overtime may be necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position will indirectly manage subcontractors and oversee overall project quality.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent plus three years of construction experience, or five years of related construction experience without a degree.
  • Experience in light/heavy industrial sectors is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% across the U.S. and potentially outside the U.S.
