Job summary

Express Wash Concepts is hiring an Assistant Site Manager at our Redford, MI location. Earn $22.00 per hour and have the opportunity to qualify for incentives based on site performance.

Join a fast-growing, award-winning company committed to growth and community. You will support the site manager, help lead the team, drive sales of unlimited car wash memberships, and manage daily operations, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience, including de-escalation.
• Basic IT proficiency, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong verbal communication skills to engage with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the site manager to ensure store operations run smoothly and meet customer service needs.
• Lead sales efforts for unlimited car wash packages and upsell products.
• Recruit, develop, and motivate teams to deliver the company’s mission.
• Manage labor, schedules, and P&L aspects like chemicals and utilities.
• Ensure safety protocols and standard operating procedures are followed.
• Address customer escalations calmly and professionally.

Where Clean Cars Begin: Your Role

As an Assistant Site Manager, you willassistthe site manager to ensure the store isoperatingand exceeding customer service needs.You will alsofocussales efforts byengaging potential customers and presenting monthly unlimited car wash packagesand upselling products to existing customers! Your workday will also consist of, but not be limited to:

• Maintain high-quality day-to-day on-site store operations.

• Lead with integrity and foster a culture of respectful accountability.

• Strive to exceed sales goals and store growth.

• Assist with Recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company’s mission.

• Successful management of labor and staff scheduling

• Effective P&L management through monitoring of chemicals, utilities, and other expenditures

• Maintain quality assurance throughaccurateQuality Control checks.

• Follow standard procedures for cash management to include daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.

• Monitor inventory and supplies andassistwith orders.

• Ensure adherence to all safety protocolsand standardoperating procedures.

• Properly address all customer escalations in a calm and collected manner.

• Learn washprocessand equipment to expand theknowledgebase.

• Further growth through educational/training opportunities

• Perform other related duties asrequiredand assigned.

WhatYou’llNeed to Shine

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 1year ofleadership experience.

• Basic IT and computerproficiency, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

• Strong verbal communication skills to effectivelyengage withcustomers.

• Capability to provide and follow clear directions.

• Ability to close the site at least two nights per week and open as needed.

• Present professional image according to appearance guidelines

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Required to stand and move throughout the site for the entire shift.

• Ability to work on your feet for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

• Ability to lift 25lbs.
