Job summary

Express Wash Concepts is hiring an Assistant Site Manager for Clean Express Auto Wash in Oxford, MI. You will assist the site manager to run daily operations, lead a customer-focused team, and push sales of monthly unlimited wash packages while upselling products.

You’ll help with recruiting, scheduling, and ensuring safety and quality controls, while delivering excellent customer care and maintaining a positive work environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; degrees preferred.
• 1 year of leadership experience minimum.
• 2+ years of customer service experience with de-escalation.
• Basic IT skills including POS and MS Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the site manager to ensure smooth store operations and customer service.
• Lead with integrity and foster a culture of respectful accountability.
• Strive to exceed sales goals and store growth.
• Assist with recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company’s mission.
• Successful management of labor and staff scheduling.
• Effective P&L management through monitoring of chemicals and utilities.

• Follow procedures for cash handling including daily reconciliations and deposits.
• Monitor inventory and assist with orders.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and SOPs.
• Address customer escalations calmly and effectively.
• Learn wash process and equipment to expand knowledge base.

Where Clean Cars Begin: Your Role

As an Assistant Site Manager, you willassistthe site manager to ensure the store isoperatingand exceeding customer service needs.You will alsofocus sales efforts byengaging potential customers and presenting monthly unlimited car wash packagesand upselling products to existing customers! Your workday will also consist of, but not be limited to:

• Maintain high-quality day-to-day on-site store operations.

• Lead with integrity and foster a culture of respectful accountability.

• Strive to exceed sales goals and store growth.

• Assist with Recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company’s mission.

• Successful management of labor and staff scheduling

• Effective P&L management through monitoring of chemicals, utilities, and other expenditures

• Maintain quality assurance throughaccurateQuality Control checks.

• Follow standard procedures for cash management to include daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.

• Monitor inventory and supplies andassistwith orders.

• Ensure adherence to all safety protocolsand standardoperating procedures.

• Properly address all customer escalations in a calm and collected manner.

• Learn washprocessand equipment to expand theknowledgebase.

• Further growth through educational/training opportunities

• Perform other related duties asrequiredand assigned.

WhatYou’llNeed to Shine

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 1year ofleadership experience.

• At least 2 years of customer service experience, including de-escalation tactics.

• Basic IT and computerproficiency, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

• Strong verbal communication skills to effectivelyengage withcustomers.

• Capability to provide and follow clear directions.

• Ability to close the site at least two nights per week and open as needed.

• Ability to coach, mentor, and train

• Present professional image according to appearance guidelines

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Required to stand and move throughout the site for the entire shift.

• Ability to work on your feet for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

• Ability to lift 25lbs.
