Job summary

Express Wash Concepts LLC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager at our Cleveland-area Clean Express Auto Wash location. You will support the site manager to ensure smooth operations and drive customer satisfaction, while leading sales efforts for monthly unlimited wash packages and upsell products.

The role requires at least 1 year leadership and 2 years of customer service, strong communication, IT and POS proficiency, weekend availability, and the ability to coach teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of leadership experience minimum.
• 2 years of customer service experience with de-escalation tactics.
• Basic IT and computer proficiency including POS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality day-to-day on-site store operations.
• Lead with integrity and foster a culture of respectful accountability.
• Strive to exceed sales goals and store growth.
• Assist with recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company’s mission.
• Manage labor and staff scheduling effectively.
• Oversee P&L through monitoring chemicals, utilities and expenditures.
• Maintain quality assurance through quality control checks.
• Follow cash management procedures including daily reconciliations, audits and deposits.
• Monitor inventory and assist with orders.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and SOPs.
• Address customer escalations calmly and efficiently.
• Learn wash process and equipment to expand knowledge base.
• Pursue growth through educational opportunities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Where Clean Cars Begin:

Your Role As an Assistant Site Manager, you will assist the site manager to ensure the store is operating and exceeding customer service needs. You will also focus sales efforts by engaging potential customers and presenting monthly unlimited car wash packages and upselling products to existing customers! Your workday will also consist of, but not be limited to:

• Maintain high-quality day-to-day on-site store operations.
• Lead with integrity and foster a culture of respectful accountability.
• Strive to exceed sales goals and store growth.
• Assist with Recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company’s mission.
• Successful management of labor and staff scheduling
• Effective P&L management through monitoring of chemicals, utilities, and other expenditures
• Maintain quality assurance through accurate Quality Control checks.
• Follow standard procedures for cash management to include daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.
• Monitor inventory and supplies and assist with orders.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Properly address all customer escalations in a calm and collected manner.
• Learn wash process and equipment to expand the knowledgebase.
• Further growth through educational/training opportunities
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

What You’ll Need to Shine

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience, including de-escalation tactics.
• Basic IT and computer proficiency, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong verbal communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
• Capability to provide and follow clear directions.
• Ability to close the site at least two nights per week and open as needed.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and train
• Present professional image according to appearance guidelines

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Required to stand and move throughout the site for the entire shift. Ability to work on your feet for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Ability to lift 25lbs.
