Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Site Director (FGP) for the Manhattan Multispecialty ambulatory center. The role plans, directs clinical and operational activities and partners with FGP leadership to meet patient access, experience and financial goals.

The successful candidate will lead HR, staffing, IT, scheduling, and performance metrics, ensuring HIPAA compliance and high-quality care across the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 6-8 years in medical practice management or equivalent
• Masters degree preferred
• Proven leadership and staff management experience
• Strong understanding of physician office and revenue cycle management processes

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily practice operations including planning, directing and coordinating day-to-day activities
• Directs HR functions including hiring, firing, evaluations and merits
• Promotes excellence in patient experience by monitoring feedback and reinforcing best practices
• Monitors revenue cycle outcomes including front-end processes and denials
• Collaborates with physicians and leadership to optimize patient access and workflows
• Ensures adherence to HIPAA, Compliance and HR policies and standards
• Coordinates staff meetings, training, and performance reviews
• Manages equipment, staffing standards, and onboarding of new physicians and locations
