Job summary

NYU Langone Health's NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks an Assistant Site Director (FGP) for Manhattan/Multispecialty to lead ambulatory clinical and operational activities, reporting to the Site Director, Ambulatory Practices. The role partners with access, strategy, patient experience, and financial leadership to achieve goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6–8 years' experience in medical practice management, preferably in a large multi-specialty group or academic medical center.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills with the ability to manage busy ambulatory operations.
• Experience with IT systems used in medical management and knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the clinical and administrative operations of the ambulatory center to align with strategic goals.
• Partners with various leadership to implement business planning, onboarding of new physicians, and space planning.
• Manages HR functions including hiring, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures patient experience is prioritized and that workflows optimize access and efficiency.
• Supports revenue cycle efforts and compliance with HIPAA and NYULH policies.
